US and Israel launch joint attack on Iran as Trump urges regime change

Nightfam, the United States and Israel have launched a large-scale air campaign against Iran!

This marks the most direct strikes on Iranian territory in years and a significant escalation of regional tensions.

In the early hours of February 28 (Tehran time), coordinated U.S. and Israeli forces struck multiple locations across Iran, including areas around Tehran, Isfahan, and Karaj.

Explosions were reported in several districts, and Iranian air defenses were activated.

Casualty figures and the full extent of the damage have not yet been independently verified.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that “major combat operations” are underway, describing the strikes as “massive and ongoing.”

U.S. aircraft and missiles are being deployed from bases and carriers across the Middle East, signaling a broader and potentially multi-day operation rather than a limited strike.

According to U.S. and Israeli officials, the stated objective is to significantly degrade Iran’s nuclear development capabilities, missile and drone infrastructure, and elements of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The strikes follow months of rising tensions, proxy attacks in the region, and the recent collapse of mediated nuclear talks in Switzerland.

Iranian leaders have previously warned of retaliation in the event of direct attacks, including potential missile or drone strikes on U.S. bases, Israel, or disruption of shipping in the Gulf.

Key developments to monitor include the scale and duration of further strikes, confirmation of targets and casualties, and whether Iranian retaliation expands the conflict into a wider regional war.
